The Certificate of qualification for the transport health products is a set of guidelines developed by CERTIPHARM for carriers to enable them to conduct a dry run to verify the existence of a quality management system (QMS) for their future shipments of healthcare products.

For whom?

This certificate is intended for carriers that do not yet transport healthcare products but wish to demonstrate that their company has a quality management system in place, designed to comply with the regulations governing the transport of such sensitive products.

Why?

This is a preliminary step toward certification, since certification can only be granted once the carrier is already transporting healthcare products.

It allows contract givers to verify that the carrier’s current QMS meets the requirements typically applicable to the transport of healthcare products, even if the carrier is not yet transporting such products.

The certificate of qualification to transport health products, which specifies the scope of activities to which the carrier commits, is issued with a one-year validity period, renewable only once, following a new comprehensive audit.
